Chris Is Looking Forward To Serving The Young People of Intibuca Through Soccer for Life, Inc.

Soccer For Life Has A New North American Director To Head The Soccer Gear Donation Project, Chris Watkins at  Slient-deathbringrr@hotmail.com .  He is a home schooled student in Florida who has just finished a year in Honduras as an Intibuca Soccer Volunteer.  Chris first visited Intibuca when he was six years old.  He began in soccer the next year and has played in school soccer, AYSO, several indoor and outdoor soccer leagues.

Chris finally ended up playing with the West Valley Soccer Club. Chris is a soccer referee, and specializes in Goal Keeper training.  Chris is considered a "geek or techie' and is called the "Gentle Giant" because he is over 6 feet tall at 16 years old and also because of his gentle style of coaching of young players.  Chris is an avid gamer, operates through his own website the MOTILES Gaming nexus under the name of SLIENT Deathbringrr.  He will be interested in communicating by email with gamers in the Far Cry world, Battlefield 2 world and the Guild Wars world.

Chris was born in  Nyack, New York and now lives in both Florida and Intibuca, Honduras with his family. Presently Chris is homeschooled.   He has been travellng to Honduras since he was six years old. He has visited Belize, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica as well as Honduras.  His favorite place besides Intibuca is the beach in Nicaragua.  He has played soccer with AYSO, an adult African team, independent youth teams as well as the West Valley Soccer Club and learned to play street soccer in Honduras.   He has coached girls in Honduras in the Liga Feminina as well as coaching young players in the Liga Menor and teenagers in the Liga Mayor.  He is presently preparing  for coaching in the summer of 2007 in Florida in Soccer for Life  goal keeping clinics in Florida.

He is responsible for all the computers and technical services of both Soccer For Life as well as MOTILES in Honduras.  He is the buyer for MOTILES, selecting the cleats and athletic shoes the company purchases for the store.  He is the person called upon for servicing the digital cameras, printers, scanners and other equipment.

The conditioning coach of both the Copa HonduAfric and the AfroCarib Cup in Honduras, Chris Watkins is an AfroHeritage youth who is an excellent goalkeeper coach as well. Chris is 16 years old, an American youth who is living in Florida and Honduras with his grandmother, Dr. Carol Cross. Dr. Carol Cross is the founder and creator of the RED de AfroHeritage Footballers, founder and director of Soccer For Life, Inc, and developer of the MOTILES Soccer Masters Academy. Chris has been playing soccer on teams since he was five years old. He is a certified referee as well. Chris is now playing after sitting our for a year because of a previous injury but has developed into a very successful coach. Chris specializes in the training of goalkeepers and conditioning athletes.

Chris is presently the goalkeeping coach of both the Liga Menor de Futbol Intibucana and the Liga Mayor Copa HonduAfric. He has coached in Honduras over a year as a Intibuca Soccer Volunteer with Soccer For Life, Inc, .

Soccer for Life, Inc., is an Arizona not for profit organization dedicated to youth empowerment, youth involvement and youth sports for personal development.  In support of this mission, Dr. Carol Cross, Founder and International Director of Soccer for Life invites you to participate in Soccer Action For A Green World, the environmental soccer program.  Soccer Action for a Green World creates confluence between youth in developed countries including the USA, Canada, European countries, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and youth in developing countries.  Confluence or moving together alongside is one of the most pressing needs of the 21st century.  Young people growing up today are going decide if it is war or peace.  They will decide to create friendships with those from other cultures or to act like enemies.  In addition, they are going to decide if our world will be green or brown, hot or normal.  Through Soccer Action For A Green World, our youth can build friendships, create new ideas, develop projects to fight global warming and change the world into a better place.

It is our feeling that everyone is seeking community, structure, meaning an a Superordinate Goal. We consider these the requisite for a life lived for sharing and receiving alike, supporting and being supporting, offering comfort and being comforted.  We call our "Personal Contribution To Life".

Soccer for Life is seeking your help to develop the Intibuca Youth Soccer Center where intend to create the Soccer Action For A Green World Ecolodge for sponsors, donors and patrons of Soccer For Life can come and relax and regenerate.  We are putting together a volunteer program, fund raising kits and all the support you need to make through Personal Contribution to Life.

The boxes should be no bigger than 22"x22"x22". Place items inside plastic garbage bags and close them before putting the soccer gear in the boxes. The boxes will be shipped by boat and this ensures they do not get wet. The boxes should be labeled with two labels:

That means that donations of cash as well as equipment, used soccer gear, vehicles, etc., receive a tax deduction from IRS. Any donation will be valued and you will receive a statement from Soccer for Life, Inc., that you can use to deduct from your income tax.
